Margaret Mahy playground
If you’re travelling with children (or just young at heart), you can’t miss the Margaret Mahy Playground. Newly built, this is the largest playground in the Southern Hemisphere. Networks of slides, flying foxes and trampolines guarantee hours of family fun. It’s right in the heart of the city by the river Avon, and is a favourite with locals and visitors.
