If I could only visit one city in New Zealand it would be … Russell in the Bay of Islands would have to be my favourite. The Bay of Islands as a whole is quite spectacular!

  1. Summer in the North Island. We have so many beautiful beaches and sunsets.
  2. Bushwalking. Amazing trails with mind blowing views!
  3. Festivals. There are plenty of music festivals, featuring both local and international artists.

My ultimate ‘family day out’ would be … No matter what the weather is doing, Sea Life Kelly Tarlton’s Aquarium is one of the best days out for the whole family. Everyone can immerse themselves in the beauty of the ocean and the marine organisms that live there.

Tiritiri Matangi or Rangitoto Island. There are many different Islands in the Hauraki Gulf that are incredible to go out for the day and explore.

For a good view, visit …
Any elevated position around Auckland will give you 360 views of the city as well as the ocean; there are loads of Volcanoes also to explore (over 50). Some of the most breathtaking views would have to be the west coast beaches, with their unreal sunsets and glorious surf.
