arrival magazine exposure at Auckland International Airport

With our new agreement with Auckland International Airport our exposure and ability to put a copy of arrival magazine into the the hands of the right number & type of visitor has improved once again. We now have 15 stands that arriving passengers walk past and the ability to place copies into the upper tray of the baggage trolleys.

I was out there yesterday viewing the flow and habbits of arriving passengers. With the new arrival pier now completed our stands have maximum exposure as visitors walk from their plane. We have gone for maximum coverage at the airport as we are aware of the many types of travellers and their varied habbits on arrival. Some travellers will not pick up any material until they have passed Customs (the afraid of Customs travellers), others are what I call 'bag racers', ie "until I have got my bags do not get in my way", then we have the "get me out of the airport" travellers - they just want to get to their hotel and then we have the "hey I'm on holiday, what's the rush" travellers. These guys just cruise of the plane, stroll through the duty free shops, wait at the back for their bags and generally take their time.

For this reason we have magazine at all these points. Prior to Duty Free, at Customs, after customs and outside the Airport Terminal.

By the way, even as the colder weather settles in more than 1000 copies of arrival are being picked up each and everyday!!
